Blood Drive Sunday, March 26, 2023
Van Cortlandt Jewish Center will host a blood drive scheduled on Sunday, March 26 from 9:30 to 2:00 at 3880 Sedgwick Ave, Bronx NY. We are urging individuals to participate in this critical event and make a significant difference in saving lives.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to upend our daily lives, the need for blood transfusions has skyrocketed as hospitals face a higher demand for blood. Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, and your contribution can make a massive difference.
We are partnering with The New York Blood Center, which provides essential services by supplying blood and other associated products to hospitals.
At the blood drive, every precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of our donors. We understand and value the grave importance of your health, and we have followed all the necessary safety protocols. We encourage you to come and donate blood.
Donating blood is a remarkable act of kindness that can make a direct, measurable difference in saving lives.
We encourage everyone to join us for the blood drive and become a part of a life-saving mission. Call the New York Blood Center at (800)933-2566 to know more about the process and schedule your appointment now.
Appointments are preferred; however walk-ins will be welcomed if space permits. Please remember to eat, drink and bring your donor ID card or ID with name and photo. Masks are optional for all donors and staff.
