The Kiddush that we make on Shabbos morning is that an actual Kiddush similar to the night. It doesn’t have the same detailed blessing like we have at night. The Rambam says it is. The Ravad says it is not, it’s just a plain Baracha of B’or-i-Prihagefen and does not have the laws of Kiddush. Connected with this, should one make Kiddush by his third meal on Shabbos, the meal that we call Se’udah Shlishis.
